At a young age Jereme started tinkering on small engines, he would go out and find lawnmowers, trimmers, and chainsaws at yard sales, he would then fix them up and Mow lawns to make extra money (in the 3-4 grade ). Eventually from there he moved into vehicles he had purchased, starting when he was 14 years old with a 1984 Ford ranger that had a bad engine.
He and his father pulled the engine and dropped it off at the machine shop for Jereme to tinker with later.
The Ranger was picked up on a Friday night. Jereme's father told him he was tired and that they would put the engine together the following morning, Jereme looked at it and thought to himself "it’s just bigger than a small engine it should work the same way."
Jereme decided he wanted to conquer the challenge and stayed up all night putting the entire engine together and when his father woke up the following morning he was extremely surprised and proud to see what Jereme had done.
They put the engine in and Jereme put 10,000 miles on the truck and sold it. From there he just kept working on cars and kept teaching himself how to do things.
Up until till this point 95% of everything he has done has all been self taught.
Jereme has a massive love and passion for cars, and views them are family in his eyes. Every build is filled with his heart and soul.
To this current day that is how Jereme has met all of his friends, other than the ones from high school of course, that is how even how he met his wife and current best friends.
Jereme spent his life working two jobs off and on for the last 10 to 12 years, finally he was able to get a shop built and decided to pull the trigger and go full-time.
Jereme was told by very dear friend, who is like his second dad, that the one thing in life is the never have any regrets ! So with his wife’s loving support and his friends pushing him he made the decision to start J’S Garage in 2019.
Jereme's love and the passion of the vehicles is what drives him to be the amazing mechanic he is today, and his favorite part is seeing the customers on the road. If you ask Jereme there’s nothing better than building a car and watching the customer enjoy it and make memories.
